Like many of DSM's composite fabrics, although it may be called black, it will be more grey or white than you may suspect. The picture is a fair representation, but samples are always recommended.

The secret to the superior performance of Dyneema fiber (UHMwPE) lies in the extremely long molecular chains that transfer load more effectively to the polymer backbone. As a result Dyneema offers maximum strength combined with minimum weight. It is up to 15 times stronger than quality steel and up to 40% stronger than aramid fibers, both on weight for weight basis.
*Due to the process in which Dyneema® composites are made, streaking, spots, and other abnormalities can be found. This is considered to be normal and acceptable by the mill's standards. As with all of our fabrics, purchasing a sample first is highly recommended, but no one sample should be considered a representation of the rest of the fabric.
