Polytex 230 is manufactured from High Density Polyethylene (HDPE), using a monofilament and tape construction. The fabric is produced by knitting the monofilament and tape together utilizing "Rachel Knit" (lock stitch) construction to ensure that the fabric will not tear or fray if cut or pierced by sharp objects. Today, safety is a prime concern of any project. Compromising on material quality therefore is not an option because the risks are substantial. POLYTEX 230 has been designed for shade structures and architectural shade sails. It's high strength to weight ratio, UV performance and fire rating makes it the ideal choice for small scale commercial or residential shade projects - anywhere shade and protection is desired.
