Airprene neoprene has holes through the neoprene which makes it a breathable but non-waterproof neoprene. Holes are approximately 0.75cm apart and 0.1cm in diameter. Meant for orthopedic uses such as braces, slings and wraps were the wearer would like some breathability of the support.
Airprene retains heat and support but allows perspiration to pass through the fabric. Supports are comfortable to wear for long periods of time, and they retain a therapeutic body temperature that keeps joints warm, muscles supple and ready for action.
To add to all of the above, breathable fabrics like Airprene are widely adopted for equestrian uses, particularly in the design and manufacture of modern saddle pads and flatwork, training and mud fever boots.
