Wickaway Fabrics |
|
|
"Wickaways" are a class of fabrics that provide great moisture control. They move perspiration away from the body to the fabric's outer surface where it can evaporate. Wickaways are soft, lightweight and breathable. These Wickaway fabrics do have some stretch and are great for garments like T-shirts and other undergarments, running and cycling jerseys, and light weight shirts for any extreme activity where you want to keep your skin as cool and dry as possible.
Which side to use?
- Wickaways wick outward so either side out is fine. Just use the same side throughout your garment.
- When pulled, the top and bottom edges will curl towards the knit-stitch face.
- The side edges (selvage edges) will curl inwards the purl-stitch (backside) face.
