from a customer "just finished a shirt out of stormcheck microflex and wore it on a hike in typical Southeast Alaska blowing, raining, 40 degree weather with just an athletic mesh undershirt under it.....LOVE IT! came back dry ..... rain didn't come through, perspiration did not condense, wind did not cut through. the stretch is comfortable and it doesn't make a racket in the brush. this stuff is the cat's meow for comfortable, quiet clothing in wet, windy conditions. it is not insulating, which i like since i overheat hiking or skiing. need to make another set of clothes
