500 Denier Coated Nylon Fabric. A versatile nylon fabric with more strength and bulk than No. 10 Duck at little more than half the weight. This is a textured nylon for a natural spun-like appearance, with excellent resistance to fading, abrasion, rot and mildew. Quick drying, and highly water repellent.
Solution dyed means that the yarn was dyed when made so that the fabric is dyed all the way through the fabric. This means that the color holds up better to abrasion and is less IR reflective.
The coating on this fabric is HaloTech FR, which offers superior strength, abrasion resistance, water repellency plus flame retardancy. Use for vests, bags, equipment cases and backs.
