Rockywoods started with a simple problem.

Over 30 years ago, Audrey wanted to make Boy Scout uniforms for her kids, but couldn’t find the right materials anywhere. So instead of settling, she decided to change it. What started as one mom trying to make something for her family turned into something much bigger.

Since then, we’ve moved four times, grown in ways we never expected, and stayed true to what we are at our core: a family-run business built around helping people make things.

Today, Rockywoods supplies outdoor and technical fabrics, hardware, and materials to makers all over, whether you’re sewing your first project or building something you’ve been dreaming about for years.

Our mission is simple:
to make it easier for people to create, experiment, and build gear that actually gets used.
