Here are answers to some questions to often get from customers.

What the heck is a Denier anyway? |
A unit of weight expressing the size or coarseness of a natural or
synthetic fiber or yarn. The weight in grams of 9000 meters of a fiber or yarn; the lower the denier, the finer the yarn. |
| Is fabric sold by the square yard? |
Fabric is sold by the running yard, not the square yard. Fabric usually comes on a roll and is about 45" wide, 55" wide or 60" wide.
These do vary in width so that a "60"' fabric runs from 56-62". |
| Can I buy fabric by the meter? |
The online system doesn't understand what a meter is. Order the number of meters you want, say 2, and make a note in the
comments section during checkout that you really want 2 meters rather than 2 yards. |
| What needle shall I use? |

| How can I get samples? |
See our Samples page. You can either send us a self-addressed stamped envelope with a request for 1 or 2
samples, or order a complete set online. |

When is my credit card charged? |
We do not charge your credit card until we're sure we can fulfill your order. Usually right before we pull it for cutting and
packaging. |
| Why do I see 2 charges on my credit card? |
If your order is being shipped overseas, overnight or by air we calculate the shipping charges after we package your order. The
first charge is for your fabrics, and the second is for the shipping. If your shipping standard ground, then you'll only see 1 charge typically. |
| Do you accept PayPal? |
Yes we do but since we don't know if we can fulfill your order online, we'll send you a PayPal invoice by email, which you'll approve for
payment. Unfortunately this means you need to order over the phone, email or via FAX. |
| Can I order fractional units of fabric, say 1-1/2 yards? |
The eCommerce system doesn't understand fractional units but you can still order them in 1 or 2 ways: 1) call us and tell us what you
want; or 2) order through the online system but put a note in the comments section at checkout that you ordered 2 yards but really want only 1-1/2 yards.
We'll adjust the order, order and shipping dollars before we cut and process your card. |
| Why does the shipping cost for air or overnight shipments show up as $0? |
The price of air and overnight shipments vary considerably depending on weight and size of the package, especially if we need to ship the
fabric as a 60" roll. We simply cannot accurately calculate the cost until we package your order. |
